BIRTH CERTIFICATE
Online Birth Registration Information System (BRIS) allows Bangladesh citizens to apply for Online Birth Registration Certificate through the Embassy of Bangladesh in Stockholm. Bangladesh citizens not having Birth Registration Certificate can apply for online Birth Registration.
Requirements:
i. Bangladesh nationals holding a Bangladesh passport
- Duly filled-in and signed application form (Click here to download application form)
- b) Photocopy of passport
- c) Two copies of recent photographs
ii.Children of Bangladesh nationals born in Sweden/Denmark/Norway/Finland/Iceland
- Duly filled-in and signed application form
- b) Parent’s passport photocopy
- Birth Certificate issued by local authorities
- Two copies of recent photographs
Fee: SEK 60.00 (non-refundable)
Payment:
- Postage fee (if the applicant would like to collect the birth certificate by post)
Within Sweden:
- SEK 120 for birth certificate
- Additional SEK 20 per each additional passport in the same postal/courier service
From Norway and Finland:
- SEK 140 for birth certificate
- Additional SEK 20 per each additional passport in the same postal/courier service
